Class Description: This dance class is perfect for girls who have never danced before and want to be part of a performing dance group. All dances are choreographed to Christian music and are age appropriate. Dance styles vary and include ballet expression, Christian hip-hop,and contemporary. Body presentation and body line, as well as body rhythm and expression,will also be taught. Short biblical lessons referencing dance in scripture will be included. The girls will present what they have learned at the end of each semester in a winter and spring recital. Girls should wear Capri or ankle-length leggings under shorts and a loose tee-shirt (a tank top may also be worn under a tee-shirt). Please bring a water bottle to each class.
